and you tell me this and you tell me that
no matter how the thing grows it's still flat
and you showed me this
and you showed me that
because of where you came from
you know where it's at
another Marxist celebration
this time with pipes instead of guns
with very little dedication
to anything that isn't fun
it's gonna take some dedication
it's gonna take some dedication
and you showed me this and you showed me that
because of where I came from
you know where I'm at
and you tell me this and you tell me that
no matter how round it feels it's still flat
it's still flat
another cosmic demonstration
with stars colliding into suns
it doesn't take imagination
it's just the way this stuff is done
better than your imagination
Still Flat (04:15)

This song got me into Cage, and actually got me back into Built To Spill. I love them both.

THE BEGINNING LYRICS ARE NOT "I'm feeling down, touch me" THEY ARE "FEELING BAD AS ME" AND IT'S ALSO NOT A WOMAN SINGING, IT'S A MAN.

Review: Yo whats up!
Okey, all I wana say is that this is maybe my favorite and I think its the best one Cage has to offer, because he truly has emotion and good sound/samples into this one. they way he mixed it wasn't "perfect" but who fuking cares. Its the vocals! Its the truth on some levels and someone can really relate to this and the feeling he gives, also his voice is pure raw, no autotune shit and he's not perfect, but its just the thought of the situation..
I give thanks for it!
